What are the admissions requirements?

First-Time Freshman

  •  2.0 unweighted GPA

Transfer Students 

  • Transfer students who have earned 24 or more college-level transferable credit hours must:

    • Have a minimum cumulative college level GPA of 2.0 from a regionally accredited institution.
    • Submit official transcript(s) from each college or universities that have been attended.

    Transfer students who have earned less than 24 college-level transferable credit hours must:

    • Meet the same requirements as the first time freshman and have a cumulative 2.0 GPA on college level transferable coursework completed from a regionally accredited institution.

Do you  accept AP and CLEP scores?

Yes, test scores must be sent directly from College Board

Do you accept Dual Enrollment Credit?

Yes, the official transcript from the college awarding the credit must be sent to the B.R.E.D.S. Office for processing.

Do you have fraternities and sororities?

Eight nationally-recognized Greek organizations are represented here on the campus of Ƶ. They are as follows, there are four fraternities: Alpha Phi Alpha Inc, Kappa Alpha Psi Inc, Phi Beta Sigma Inc, Iota Phi Theta Inc and Omega Psi Phi Inc. and four sororities: Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc, Sigma Gamma Rho Inc, Zeta Phi Beta Inc, and Delta Sigma Theta Inc. Ƶ also has about 30 academic and social organizations.

How large is Ƶ’s campus?

The campus has a 308-acre main campus; 38 buildings, including seven residence halls and a 204-acre Research Farm.

What type of sports do you have?

Ƶ is a Division II school. We participate in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. We have football, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf, men’s and women’s basketball, track and cross country.

Is the New Student Orientation mandatory?

Yes, students must complete 1 New Student Orientation prior to registering for your courses. New Student Orientation provides an overview of important policies, procedures, and resources.
